Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU) is investing in the future of its tennis program with a major renovation of its tennis courts.
The university has allocated $2.5 million for the project, which will include the construction of six new tennis courts, new lighting, and other amenities.
The new courts will be built to the highest standards and will feature a variety of surfaces to accommodate different playing styles.
- Two hard courts
- Two clay courts
- Two indoor courts
The new lighting will provide optimal playing conditions for both day and night matches.
Other amenities will include a new scoreboard, bleachers, and a shade structure.
The renovations are expected to be completed by Fall 2023.
Once complete, the new tennis courts will provide MTSU's tennis teams with a state-of-the-art facility to train and compete.
The courts will also be available for use by the university community and the general public.
The renovation project is part of MTSU's commitment to providing its students with the best possible athletic facilities.
In recent years, the university has also invested in new facilities for its football, basketball, and baseball teams.
The new tennis courts are expected to have a similar impact on the university's tennis program.
The Blue Raiders have a long and successful history in tennis, and the new courts will help them continue to compete at a high level.
